YOU PUT ON FAILURE PROOF
Those who are failures are not those who failed, but (they) are those who failed and settled in their failing state. Those who are succeeding are not those who had not failed before, but they are those who failed and overcame their failure and went on to succeed. And that means they believed it was possible for them to do right what they couldn't do before. Positive mentality is a failure proof, it takes you to a place where you don't 'see' failure as an issue but as an opportunity to examine or assess yourself and do better the next time you are faced with the same or similar situation.
Positive mentality helps you to step out of failure mentality, even if you just jailed. You know, when people fail, usually you see them acting like a sure loser But with positive mentality even if you think you are a loser you will begin to act like one who had succeeded because you are sure you will certainly succeed no matter the situation.
Positive mentality helps you to learn from your mistakes. The truth is that when you are positive about achieving a particular goal you wouldn't want to make one is mistake twice therefore, you will always want to learn from your mistakes.
Overcoming Vision Killers" that those who don't learn from their mistakes will never become a master. But it is better to avoid mistakes. And one of the ways to do that is to learn from the mistakes of others.
"For a just man (positive mentality person) may fail seven times (perfect times) and he can still rise up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
"Prov. 24:16" According to that scripture the only thing that can stop you from being able to rise or overcome failure is if you turned wicked "the wicked shall fall into mischief. Positive mentality heals you of emotional damage that may have occurred in the process. t may take others a lot of time to get over failure, but with positive mentality you overcome the feelings with ease.
Positive mentality helps you to correctly analyze the challenges or problems and give it the right approach that will lead you to achieve your goals.
MASTER KEY TO MINIMIZE MISTAKE OR FAILURE
The master key to minimize mistakes is learning dust as the scripture rightly stated in the book of 2 Peter 1:5-6 that "...giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge", to make it faith) work. So also add to positive mentality the attitude of a learner in order to minimize or avoid failure. Learning will boost your positive mentality because it would increase the number of ideas you believe in and then helps you to know what to do.
The Base
Let your mentality be rooted in the word of God-The Bible. I can tell you, without any hesitation, that the scripture is the most valid information and the most powerful idea you can have access to. Rooting your positive mentality on the scripture is laying unbreakable foundation to success in life. Jesus said to him, "if you can believe (the word), all things are possible to him that believes-MK 9:23".

YOU BECOME FEARLESS
Positive mentality has a way of disarming fear. Fear has kept many in one spot in life for a long time Some are afraid of losing, afraid of not being able to do something correctly.
But the power of positive mentality helps to put off those wrong fears and pushes you to a point where you then begin to carry out good analyses of the situation and devising means to achieve your goals or success.
And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it Came out of him, and the child was cured from that very hour. Then, the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, why could we not cast it out". Jesus then said to them, "Because of your unbelief: (because of your fear) for surely,I say to you, if you have faith (if you have positive mentality) as a mustard seed, you Will say to this mountain, move from here to there, and it will move and nothing will be impossible for you". - Matt. 17:18-20. Get this, no one will ever succeed until he/she learns to overcome the fear of his/her inability to succeed.
long as you think negatively you cannot achieve.success, you have given into the force of fear Fear is only good for those who use it for their advantage. How? You may ask.
For example, if you are afraid to do wrong things or engage in wrong activities, you are using fear for an advantage. And that is what is referred to as positive fear Another example is when you believe that to achieve success or your goals is possible but you take your time to strategize due to the fact that you are "afraid" of failing and so you want to do everything possible to avoid mistakes as much as possible. At the same time, one must learn not to take steps with the mind frame of not succeeding. That is where your positive mentality comes in. Do you know there are people who have been able to discover their purpose in life, but are unable to pursue it due to the fear of not going to attain the purpose? They are unwilling to put in anything because fear wouldn't let them see anything good coming out of it Don't allow fear to rob you of your glorious future. Just be sure you are on the right path, be positive about it and forcefully move on to achieve your goals.
Cure to Fear
"But whose hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil-prov. 1:33" I believe that people live in fear due to the fact that the didn't Listen to what God had said and He is saying, they go by what people had said and are saying It is only what God says that impacts faith and eliminates fear naturally "So, faith cometh by hearing, and hearing the word of God.
Read Again: "So then fear go out by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
Romans 10:17
That means if you-are not given to God's word, you.cannot.be impacted with the power
of positive mentality.. "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind-2 Tim. 1:17".
The Spirit of God is a possibility spirit. The Holy Spirit moved upon the face of the water on earth, and then God said: let there be light and there was light.
Gen. 1:1-3 So the Spirit of God is not the spirit of fear Let that spirit dwell in you and you will live a fearless life and move against all your fears and you will succeed.
Receive that possibility spirit today and make to happen all that had been said to be impossible in your life.
YOU BECOME PERSISTENT
You become persistent and obsessed with positive mentality when you stop what you think-fear - and you will be able to get into the race of life.
What you don't thin k is possible to achieve, you don't go all out to achieve. Therefore, persistency is a product of positive mentality. When you stop being positive about life, you are bound to pause in the journey of life Positive mentality energizes you to keep pressing towards your goals in life until it is achieved. Paul in the Bible can be said to be a man who understood what it was to be persistent in achieving goals. Hear what he had to say "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do
forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are
before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philip 3: 13-14
Now, let's look at the above read scripture Closely and pick out something from what
Paul is saying. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended (achieve all)" that implies that there are goals he still intends to achieve. "But this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind" The things which are behind could be his past failure or success. He put those things behind because he was positive about the future. He still imagined himself achieving more goals or those goals he had not being able to achieve And so, he said in the last part of verse 13 and verse 14 "and reaching forth unto those things we are before, I press (l am persistent because l carry a positive mentality) towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Only those who are pressing or persistent make a mark and obtain the prize. I have had opportunity to ask people why they stop doing what they are doing? And most times you hear them say words like: "Tdon't think it will work' and give one excuse or the other.
And when people say I don't think it will work, it simply means they had stop thinking positively about their goals. Because out of the abundance of the heart (mind) the mouth speaks.
Positively mental people are persistent people. They take off when others are giving up. I read in one of my father in the Lord's books, Bishop David O. Oyedepo "Understanding Divine Direction How he was on a trip to America, he and his team were told they couldn't fly because there was storm. And they were also told that all the connecting flights had been cancelled. And he said while everybody else was leaving in confusion. He asked the Lord "what He was saying. And he heard the Lord said go forward! And he ordered all the team members to get into the plane and they all marched in.
According to him when the plane took off,
the weather took shape! Positive mentality! Yes, you may say he heard from God to go forward. But the truth is that, there are so many of us who could hear the same thing and not go forward for lack of positive mentality, due to what they say.
Please understand that, with God all things are possible and it will takes us to develop possibility attitude or mentality to be able to
work with God's instruction. The man of God carries positive mentality and so when the Holy Spirit said go forward, he go forward not minding the storm.
You see, people will always look at the storm of life when they are no longer positive about their goals.
To me the only time you are permitted to give up, is when you know you are not in the right path. Therefore I advise you have a certain vision. Sure, positive and definite Vision that you are pursuing. Don't live your life to chance
YOU BECOME COURAGEOUS
Courage is the ability to confront your challenges But the foundation for a courageous life is positive mentality. You can be courageous enough to achieve your goals, without first imagining and believing that your goal is possible to accomplish. And that is positive mentality. I will want to say that, those who are not Courageous are people who think their failure is their final stage in life. They lack positive mentality but those people who think their failure is their pathway who are courageous are to their final destination which is success, due to the availability of positive mentality That is why the Lord is very much interested in how we perceive situation and react to it, I believe this was the reason God had to work on the positive mentality of Jeremiah. "Then the word of the Lord came unto me saying. Before I formed you in the belly I know you, and before you came forth out of your mother's womb I sanctified yo, and I ordained you a prophet to nations. Then said, Ah, Lord God! Behold i can not speak: for i am only a child". Please get it right, the last statement you read above was Jeremiah's. Now read what the response of God is. "But the Lord said unto me, say not, i am a child: don't say you cannot do it or that it is impossible for you to carry out this assignment: "Be not afraid of their faces: for am with thee to deliver you, saith the Lord.
Jer 1:4 Now the question is, why did God have to work on the mentality of Jeremiah, since he was already empowered by God through ordination? The truth is that, no matter how powerful you may be physically and spiritually, if you With positive mentality it is certain that you will be Courageous. Lock of positive mentality can rob you of your courage, which can also rob you of success So walk with positive mentality.
YOU BECOME CONFIDENT
The scripture admonishes us that, for no reason should we cast away our confidence because it has a great benefit. "Cast not away therefore your confidence, which has great recompense of reward - Heb.10:35"
Do you want to keep your confidence? Then keep positive mentality. Here is the issue: if you dor't believe it is possible to attain a particular level in life, you can't be confident to do anything about it. remember a story that was told by Dr David Oyedepo", that when he started preaching or teaching prosperity in the body of Christ, somebody advised him to stop the message because at that time he was not reflecting what he was preaching. But I believed he was positive about it and he believe what he was preaching is realizable and so he preached it with confidence, Lack of confidence, is due to lock of positive mentality. Without positive mentality that would have made him to take that advice and to stop the message which would have stopped him from achieving his goal of making God's people rich. Hear me, lack of confidence towards your goal or vision is dead and the only thing that can help you to keep your confidence is being positive towards your set goals.
You see, everyone in one way or the other reflects his/ her thought or perspective about the future in the present. You can be a prospective king and be living, talking and acting as a slave today. No! Your conduct in one way or the other will show to people who you are. Please understand that your confidence in life has a way of consolidating the gains from your spiritual and physical efforts.
Imagine somebody who has worked so hard to go to school and obtained a degree, qualified to occupy a particular top position in an organization, who is being interviewed and in the process displays lack of confidence about himself and even over his certificate.
Iam sure you know very well that the interviewer are going to be doubtful about him. Questions like "are you sure he's the true owner of the certificate or are you sure the certificate is not forged?" Will arise. And that can rob him of his rightful place. That is the more reason the scripture said, for no reason should we cast away our confidence because it will be needed to consolidate hard work. Build up your positive mentality and it will result to confidence. Now, it is also important for us to know that your confidence should be in a balanced form. And that is: confidence in God and confidence in yourself. At no point should you express your confidence in yourself only.
This was the reason Paul in the Bible said: "I can do all things through Christ which
strenghteneth me - Phil4:13" Paul simply meant to say, have confidence in my ability to do all things but that confidence is because God is the source of my ability.
His confidence was rooted in the ability of God to work through him and make everything possible for him.
Therefore, get your confidence rooted in God or in the word of God, which is also the Same thing asⁿ great positive mentality in this concept. For with God all things are possible.
YOU BECOME FOCUS
First, let's look at the meaning of the word focus. It means an ability to form a clear image of the future. A center of interest. I will want to also define focus as the ability to avoid distractions. I am yet to see anyone who lacks focus and still achieves his/her goals in life. Please, if you know of any successful person, I will show you a focused person. Success is not possible without interest in what you are doing and what gives birth to interest in whatever you are doing, is focus. And focus is not possible without positive mentality in place. You cannot get focused on what you believe will not work.
Many have lost their places in destiny for lack of focus. There is enough, if not more than enough money or profit in what you are doing right now, if only you will get focused, interested, and create a fortune out of it.
That you are not working in an oil company or any of such institutions you think people easily make money, is not the reason you should not be as successful as those in such institutions. It all depends on you and what your focus is. Now, think about somebody who takes time out to develop package food that is generally accepted. Do you know that such a person is going to end up being paid by everybody, both those in the oil company and those in such institutions you think people make money easily? And what that means is, people will pay him with oil money, CBN money, etc. Therefore, there are possibilities that such an individual can become richer or more successful than those in oil companies etc. So get positive about what you are doing. Remain focused and become successful.
Read this: "The light of the body is the eye: therefore your eyes be single (focus), thy
whole body shall be full of light- Matt. 6:22" Now, just like I said in one of my books
Achievers Secret, the word light in the above scripture you read scripturally means God's presence. And you can prove that from the book of John 1:4-5. In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness;; and the darkness, comprehended it not" At this point, let's do some more analyses of the above read scriptures Matt. 6:22 and John 1:4-5. To me it means, even God does not back up those who are not focused in their lives adventure - Matt. 6:22 And secondly, it means, "darkness (confusion and distractions) can set into people's lives for lack of focus -John 1:4-5. Therefore not even the kingdom of darkness can stop you from achieving your goals in life when you learn to keep focus. But the key point you must not forget is that, positive mentality is what gives birth to a focused life and keeps you focused. I therefore to remain focused, you have to keep being positive towards your goals. Keep that dream alive with your positive mentality.
YOU DON'T LACK ACTIONS
I have always been of the opinion that those who lack actions in life, simply lack positive mentality. You can be positive about your goals in life, and yet not take steps towards achieving that goal.
Many years ago, when I was to start my ministry, there was no money. But because Knew what the Lord God had deposited me, believing the vision God gave me was possible to realize, even though many parts of the vision seemed impossible with natural man, I took the steps of praying to God to show me how I could raise money to start.
God showed it to me, though it wasn't what I thought somebody like me should do. All the same, I took steps to act upon the word of God spoken to me. And I must say, I went through what people usually refer to as "hell" I didn't have to worry because I knew that is how God takes people to their promised land. But before He takes you to the promised land, there is always a wilderness experience. And that is the more reason we all need to develop positive mentality to be able to go through the wilderness experience and not stop in the wilderness, Now, here is a biblical example of what am saying "..Lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, divide it: and the children of Israel go on dry ground through the midst of the sea. - Exo 14:16 You see, I strongly believe that for man to do the impossible, he has to partner with God in his actions. That was a situation that looks impossible to deal with in the above scripture and so Moses had to turn to God for a possible solution. And before God acted he needed actions from Moses. And as soon as Moses acted, God acted too. Lack of action can rob a man of all the backings he would have gotten from God. And to be a person full of actions, you must be such that go with positive mentality Imagine as the Lord spoke to Moses "lift up your rod and stretch out your hand over the sea, and divide it". And Moses asked the question: "Lord how can that divide the sea? And if he failed to act, he and everyone he was leading would have be killed by the enemies. Please don't stop acting, in as much as you are sure that you are in the right direction towards your set goals in life. Hear me, no matter how good a writer of a film is, he is never called an actor until he acts what he wrote. Until you become such that is full of actions, you will not be able to activate Jor yourself a successful life. And not until you create a positive mentality, you never can take a positive actions towards achieving your set goals.
YOU BECOME UNLIMITED
I will want to describe limitation as a force that eliminates or aborts destiny or success of men due to lack of positive mentality. If you are not positive about life, it will soon place before you a wall of limitation. The difference between a man who says I can make it and the one who says I don't think I can make something good with my life any more, is positive mentality There is a story in the Bible where some people were sent to spy a land and to come back to give a report whether or not the children of God can take over. And almost all came back, saying it was not possible, that there were many strong men of war in that land. But one of them by name Caleb disagreed. He said "we can possess the land, lets go and overcome". Then they told him (Moses), saying: "we went to the land where you sent us. It truly flows with milk and honey Nevertheless, the people who dwell in the land are strong: the cities are fortified and very large: Moreover, we saw the descendants of Anak there... Then Caleb quieted (disagreed) with the people before Moses, and said, "let us go at once and take possession. For we are well able to overcome it. -Numbers 13:27, 30" The difference between Caleb as a person and the other people who went to spy the land is positive mentality. The rest of them saw the land impossible to possess, but only Caleb saw something different.
That is why you and I don't need to go the majority way to make things happen. The truth is that, if you want to achieve a new level, you must be ready to take New steps. And if you want to get a different result, you have to be ready to think, see, hear and believe differently from others. That was what Caleb did, everyone saw Failure but only him saw success. And if you read that story in the Bible to the end, you will discover that those who had the thought of impossibility never made it to the land. But those who were operating with the power of positive mentality possessed the land. -God said: But my servant Caleb because he was with a different spirit ( with a positive mentality) in him and has followed me fully, l will bring (him) into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it - Numbers 14:24 You see, it is only your vote that is needed for you to win in the world of possibility. And that vote is for you and you alone to believe, it is possible, in as much as you are sure that you are on the right path.
YOU BECOME CREATIVE
You can carry positive mentality and not become creative. dust like I have always said and believed that the spirit of God can be in you and you are not creative, because God is a creator and with Him nothing is impossible.
Operating with positive mentality open you up to be able to operate in the creative power of God. The first man Adam operated in the Creative capacity of God and so he was able to name every beast of the field and every bird of the air, because as at that time he had not debited God by his act of disobedience Therefore, he was operating with the power of positive mentality.
"From the earth, the Lord God made every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and took them to the man ta see what names he would give them: and whatever name he gave to anything, that was its name - Gen. 2:19 If you believe you can build a house you will design the plan. In the same way, if you believe you can get something new done you will start the creating process. So if a man is not creative, it simply means, you don't believe you can something new done. Therefore you lack positive mentality Please, understand that every new invention is a thing people consider not possible and made possible by another man. Somebody once said. "The world is mouing so fast these days that the man who thinks and says it can't be done is generally interrupted by someone doing it" Don't say it is not possible to succeed in that business or what you are doing, just get positive and become creative and then create your desire. It takes a man who has conceived an ideal and who is positive about the ideal to start the creation of that ideal.
Creativity is rooted in positive mentality.
YOU BECOME HARD WORKING
am of the opinion that laziness is as a result of no hope for the future. If you believe you Can achieve your set goal or vision, you will work hard to attain it. When you stop work, you stop walking forward and if you stop walking, you stop progressing. But no one will work for an organization if there is no assurance or positive mentality that at the end of the month he/she will be paid. The truth is that if you believe you can make it in doing whatever you are doing right now, you will put in everything to make it succeed.
When you stop being positive about the future, you will stop working. I have seen people gave up their jobs and traveled abroad due to the fact that they believe they cannot make it in their country Another person steps into doing what they left and makes a fortune of it and even makes it more than the "run away person". The one who gave up simply lacked positive mentality The undeniable truth is that if he does not live with positive mentality in whatever country he decides to run to, he will soon move out of it to another country. It is not where you are, but who you are that is the main issue. What changes your situation is mainly your ability to continuously be positive about your goal, which will naturally propel you to be hard working. And every hard worker always makes things work.
"Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: jor your work shall be rewarded -2 Cho. 15:7 The question is that why did God have to state that "for your work shall be rewarded"? I strongly believe it is because God wants us to have hope in the future, knowing fully that it will keep us working hard. Tell me, have you ever met anyone who is not mad, working so hard without assurance that he will be paid? Walking with positive mentality will keep you working hard to achieve your goals. Therefore, if you are feeling lazy at your work, find out your mentality about the work and life and you will discover you have lost hope in the future. All you need to do therefore is to fire up your mentality to operate with the power of positive mentality. Now in case you don't know the level my father in the Lord, Dr David Oyedepo has attained, then find out.
There is no man who can attain such a level without a positive mentality. He works for sixteen to eighteen hours a day. So anyone who operates with positive mentality will possibly be hard working. Therefore, laziness is rooted in the lack of positive mentality, while hard work is rooted in the power of positive mentality.
YOU DO MUCH WITH LITTLE
With the power of possibility in operation in a man, somehow he gets things done in a way that amazes people and eventually ends up saving cost. People with positive mentality do not only spend money to get things done, they spend their "thought". I first heard from Dr. David Oyedepo, saying: "put (5) five thousand naira in a hand of a wise man, he will create a value of (50) fifty thousand naira from it with time But put (50) fifty thousand in the hand of a fool, he will reduce the value to (5) five thousand naira. The difference between the 1wise man and the foolish man, to me is the ability to think.
There are so many businesses people can start today with a little amount of money and time and they can become wealthy if the right mentality is in place. Yet there are people who spend that so called little amount of money everyday, while crying of no job. All because they do not know the value of the little in their hand, due to lack of positive mentality.
Jesus said in the book of Luke 14:28. "For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and count the cost, whether he has sufficient to finish it" Now, as you may know, you don't count the cost of a project just with your hand, but with your head. Therefore I can come down that Jesus meant to say: if anyone must be able to make good use of what he/she has to finish project, our mind must play a role.
Understand that the level of your ability is what will determine how much supply you lown to say attract, not mainly the amount of money you have in your hand. That, I believe, is that informed the action in the story of the parable of the talents in the book of Matthew 25:14-15.
"For the kingdom of God is as a man traveling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods And unto one he gave five talent, to another two, and to another one, to every man according to his ability.."
To me, what you need to start a business, is not as important as how much ability you develop to make the business to succeed. Because without adequate capacity no matter how big the amount you are given, you can't do much with it. And one of such areas we need to build up ourselves is the development of positive mentality.
Do you know that no matter how good something may look, with out positive mentality you wouldn't see it as good. It is like when there is hatred in your heart towards somebody, you will not see anything good about that person. Without positive mentality you cannot imagine or see anything big or good coming out of the little you have.
Now, read more of that story of the parable of the talent "Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. But he that had received one went and digged in the earth. and hid his Lord's money- Matt. 25:16-18. If you take a close look at the above scripture read, you will discover that the servants who traded with what they were given made (100) hundred percent profit each. That means the servant who hid what he was given would have as well made hundred percent profit too. But due to the fact that he Jet what he was given was too little he denied himself of the opportunity of becoming one talent richer And if you find out the difference between the amount given to the first and second servant you will discover that the second servants had every reason to get angry and hid what he was given too. He didn't, because he had the right mentality. The difference between five and two talents is three talents and the difference between two talents and one talent is one. Therefore, you Can see that the servant with two talents has every reason to act just like the servant with one talent. Please don't forget, with positive mentality you can do much with a little.
THE GREAT POINTS
At this point, I will want you to tap into these insightful statements made by Dr. David O. Oyedepo on the subject matter These words have changed my world positively, and I strongly believe it will change your mentality for good.
1. Positive mentality is the key for doing the impossible.
2. Everything in your hand today begins in your mind yesterday
3. What is too big for your mind (or what you have no capacity to think of), is too big for your hands (or is too big for you to achieve).
5. Whatever you cannot imagine, you can never deliver. It is your imagination that sets the pace for your destination; it is your mental picture that defines your actual future.
6. You can un-look your innermost potentials if you dare to think it is possible .
7. Without a positive driven mind, your world will never mind you.
8. You cannot posses a poverty mentality and command plenty.
Haven't read through these powerful statements made by the great man of God, think therefore that the choice is yours to make. To choose to develop positive mentality or to keep thinking impossibility But I don't want to believe anyone should have alternative to a good and successful life especially when you are in a position to choose right and have the knowledge of what is right.
